Mossy Rock Ranch is owned and operated by the Crowder family. We are a healthy alternative to the industrial food system. We raise livestock on a small scale, in harmony with nature, using regenerative practices that rebuild the health of the soil. All our practices are grounded in a deep respect and kindness for the animals and the land we care for.
Our livestock are raised to the highest ethical standards on open pastures or woodlands, allowing animals to live without stress and express their natural and instinctive behaviors. All our animals are raised without hormones or antibiotics and live outdoors year round as nature intended.
We make no compromises in order to grow the highest quality healthy food for our family and yours. Because healthy food starts with healthy soil, we nurture our pastures and do not use any chemicals, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers.
We use premium local feed sourced from a family owned local mill, so you can be confident that your food will be healthy and nutritious, while also helping to build a more resilient local food system.
